The new SPECTRO xSORT handheld XRF analyzer incorporates numerous new features and designs that optimize speed, ease, and user convenience while delivering advanced analytical performance. It delivers rapid, on-site, laboratory-quality analysis results. This state-of-the-art analyzer efficiently handles a variety of analytical tasks including:Geology & Mining: Mining and geochemical operations require analytical tools to determine the composition of minerals, concentrates, and tailings, often involving a wide range of elements and concentrations. The SPECTRO xSORT provides fast, accurate measurements on a variety of sample types, even in complex and remote locations.Environmental: The SPECTRO xSORT is used in environmental applications to rapidly analyze soil, sediment, waste, and other materials for heavy metals and toxic elements, ensuring proper cleanup or remediation.Compliance: National and international legislation seeks to reduce the health and environmental impact of harmful substances in consumer goods and manufactured products. The SPECTRO xSORT is the ideal analysis tool if substances contain any of the elements in the Mg-U range. The SPECTRO xSORT handheld XRF analyzer has been redesigned to be more compact and balanced than previous models, making it ideal for extended, fatigue-free one-handed use. Its ergonomic features include an easy-to-pull trigger, a large 5" high-definition display with wide viewing angles, and additional physical buttons suitable for gloved hands. This results in effortless all-day comfort. For added convenience, the instrument can be fitted with a small handheld sample chamber or mounted in its docking station. In both cases, it can be operated from an external PC, optionally connected to the powerful XRF Analyzer Pro software for full data storage, further management and processing. The device offers maximum analytical flexibility with factory-prepared methods, providing broad coverage of elements and matrices. Users can easily switch between samples without changing methods. Additionally, for rare elements or applications not pre-installed, experienced users can utilize the smart on-site calibration option via PC.
