SPECTRO xSORT XHH04: Portable XRF for in-situ metal and alloy analysis
OVERVIEW:
- Maximum on-site metal testing capacity with 46 elements on 16 metal dies in 2 seconds for most elements, 7 seconds for light elements (e.g., Al, Si, Mg); on-site calibration for elements and applications not covered by factory methods
- Designed for all-day one-handed use: Balanced, size-optimized display that's comfortable and easy to read; Quick Action Software: Powered by Android, designed for touch operation, quick access to all functions
- Data and documentation everywhere: GPS for on-site, cameras for what, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and microSD for documenting and transmitting results. Mobile lab: from a handheld device to a mini-lab when connected to the docking station with sample chamber.
The new SPECTRO xSORT XHH04 incorporates numerous innovative features and designs to maximize speed, ease and user convenience, plus advanced analytical performance. This innovative portable XRF gun analyzer quickly handles virtually any on-site metal analysis need, from the scrapyard or factory floor to the foundry. The powerful and flexible SPECTRO xSORT XHH04 delivers exceptional full-spectrum coverage for all common metals and alloys, including 46 elements in 16 metal matrices. All with no operator decision-making required. And if an uncommon element or application isn’t factory-installed, the SPECTRO xSORT XHH04 handheld analyzer offers experienced users a smart on-site PC calibration option. The SPECTRO xSORT XHH04 provides high-performance, highly reliable elemental and spectrochemical analysis of countless metals and their alloys under widely varying conditions. The entry-level, FAST SPECTRO xSORT Alloy enables metal grade identification in seconds. The even more powerful standard SPECTRO xSORT analyzes most alloys in just 2 seconds. Even alloys with light elements (aluminum, magnesium, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, etc.) can be identified in 7 seconds, so plant personnel or contractors can complete hundreds of inspections per shift, increasing productivity and profitability. EASY Smaller in size and better balanced than previous models, SPECTRO xSORT is optimized for fatigue-free, all-day, one-handed operation. The ergonomic design includes a light-press trigger; a large, easy-to-read, wide-angle, high-definition 5” display; additional physical buttons ideal for gloved hands; and a smaller probe head for accessing tight spots. Results: effortless operation with all-day comfort. FLEXIBLE Factory methods offer maximum analytical flexibility, with two collimator spot sizes (3 mm and 5 mm). Users get ultra-wide coverage of elements and alloys, as well as sample sizes. And operators don’t have to switch methods between samples.
